"Eight percent of college men have either attempted or successfully raped. Thirty percent say they would rape if they could get away with it. When the wording was changed to “force a woman to have sex,” the number jumped to 58%. Worse still, 83.5% argue that “some women look like they are just asking to be raped."

This is what it means when we say that there is such a thing as “rape culture”. It is imperative that we teach men that rape is wrong, no matter what form it takes. If you are having sex with someone without their consent (or with someone who cannot give their consent) - you are a rapist. End of the gods-damned story.

Need to have this for future reference.  I read a couple of studies like this - that once you take the word “rape” out of the question ,the number of men who admit to activities that amount to rape skyrockets.  They all do it, they’re just all pretending they don’t.

After I got to my college I found out one of the brothers in one of the frats raped a girl. I don’t know if he got kicked out but I’m going to say maybe however all the attention was on the girl got raped. The brothers threw a vat a beer on her and his girlfriend beat her up because she was jealous and said he shouldn’t have been convicted. This is rape culture.
