Franklin Brito, who had been going on a hunger strike for months to demand the return of his lands, expropriated by Hugo Chavez’s government, died tonight at 9 PM. The last eight months of his life he was under “government custody”, taken away to the Military Hospital under the premise that he was “psychologically unbalanced” for persisting on his cause.
Please repost this. If someone on your friend list sees this, respost it as well. Take these news to every media form you can, and encourage others to do the same: tweet it, tumblr it, add news sources or your thoughts. It won’t take long to copy-paste it, and it will be an effort to make sure that this injustice does not go unnoticed.
